Job description: Enercon Industries is seeking an engineer to repair, commission and service its range of induction heat sealing equipment. Your responsibilities will consist of in-house repairs, on-site repairs, commissioning visits, packing machinery and spares for dispatch and offering customer support. Tools and a laptop will be provided together with the use of a pool car for site visits. The role is primarily based at Enercon’s European head office in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, so applicants should live within a commutable distance. However, you must also be willing to work away from home when required, as the job includes UK and European travel. This role sits within the service team and reports into the Technical Manager, you will also be required to support the production team on an adhoc basis.
Responsibilities include: About you: You will be a highly motivated individual with a good understanding of Health & Safety requirements, be able to carry out equipment servicing and repair works effectively and be able to respond quickly to any customer requirement. Ideally you will have experience in the FMCG/food industries, although candidates from other industries will be considered. You will have direct contact with our customers, colleagues and suppliers and therefore it is essential that you have good communication skills and an ability to work both alone and as part of a team. Full product training will be given to the successful candidate. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
Candidate requirements: Required licence or certification: Holds a full driving licence valid in the UK Holds BTech/HNC/HND Electrical Engineering or other recognised professional or vocational qualifications in an electrical/electronic engineering discipline. NO AGENCIES.
