CausebrookSmith is a UK engineering services business, working with food manufacturers and machinery builders nationwide.

Most of what we do is keeping production equipment running. Service engineering, preventative maintenance, deep servicing and asset care programmes — planned properly, carried out on site, and built around the machinery a customer already owns rather than the machinery they might buy next. We work across all makes and are not tied to a single machinery brand.

Asset care is the core of the business. That means understanding how a line actually behaves, where it fails, and what it costs when it stops. We run structured maintenance regimes, deep servicing and performance improvement work, alongside technical support, out-of-hours cover and operator and engineering training so site teams can handle more themselves.

Spares are handled the same way, through our Mobile Spares Administration service: scheduled site visits, physical stock audits, critical spare reviews, obsolescence planning and replenishment management, so the part that is needed is on the shelf before the line stops.

We also support machinery manufacturers with UK field service, installation, commissioning, warranty and breakdown cover, and we manage capital projects from factory survey and specification through to commissioning and handover.
