Automate UK's Vision Integrator Standard in association with UKIVA is the benchmark to evaluate Vision Integrators’ ability to create and produce quality vision projects, solutions and services that fulfil the needs of the UK’s vision users.

A Vision Integrator as defined by Automate UK is a specialist engineering company or consultancy that designs, supplies, installs and supports machine vision systems for use in industrial and manufacturing environments. Combining cameras, optics, lighting, software, processing hardware and control systems to deliver complete, application specific vision solutions tailored to application and industry needs. By integrating these technologies into systems, an Industrial Vision Integrator enables automated inspection, measurement, identification, guidance, and quality control within manufacturing and production processes, helping businesses improve accuracy, efficiency, reliability, return on investment and cost efficiency.
The need for an independently audited standard has been recognised by the vision community so that Vision Integrators can show the standard of their work and new integrators have a standard to use to base their processes on to help provide the level of services expected by users.
Automate UK has developed this standard alongside UKIVA and the experience provided by its members, making it a peer reviewed and agreed standard.
You can apply to have your operating procedures independently audited by an Automate UK approved auditor. This will include a onsite audit of your operational, safety and project processes
Upon gaining certification, you will be eligible to use the Automate UK accreditation logo on your company literature to promote best practices. Recertification is required every two years with a surveillance audit in intervening years.
