Bespoke Ultrasonic Portioning

plus minus

The RoboSonic range brings together two of the most powerful technologies in modern food processing - ultrasonic cutting and robotic automation - in a single, fully integrated portioning system. And when your production requirements go beyond our standard configurations, our engineering team will work with you to create a bespoke RoboSonic solution tailored precisely to your needs.

Ultrasonic cutting delivers clean, accurate, low-friction cuts that protect product integrity, minimise giveaway and reduce blade cleaning downtime. Combined with the speed, repeatability and flexibility of robotic handling, the result is a portioning system capable of exceptional throughput without compromising on cut quality.

Tailored to your production requirements

No two food production lines are the same, which is why our bespoke RoboSonic machines are engineered to order. Before we commit to manufacturing your solution, we’ll review and test your product range on our inhouse machines, we’ll access your throughput targets and your available footprint. This way we can ensure we design a system that slots into your line and performs from day one.

Wirecutter B

plus minus

The Wire Cutter B is a single-stage wire cutter designed for block cheese portioning.

A pneumatic assembly pushes your product through an easily interchangeable wire grid, set to the desired cut pattern and enabling multiple cut configurations. The pusher assembly contains grooves matching the cut configuration of the wire grid, ensuring the product is cut through entirely.

This machine is easily operated, with a cut cycle that is controlled by a two-handed push button operation. Quick release wire fittings allow the operator to quickly and easily replace or re-tension a wire as and when required.

Wirecutter 2B

plus minus

The Wire Cutter 2B is a two-stage wire cutter for block cheese portioning, allowing for blocks to be processed down to portions on a single machine.

The blocks are portioned via pneumatic pusher assemblies which push the product through two wire grid sets to the desired cut pattern. The cheese block first gets pushed through a grid which cuts it in to logs, then through the second which cuts it into portions. The pusher assemblies contain grooves matching the cut configuration of the wire grid, ensuring the product is cut through entirely.

This machine is easily operated, with a cut cycle that is controlled by simple push button operation. Quick release wire fittings allow the operator to quickly and easily replace or re-tension a wire as and when required.

Bespoke Pick & Place

plus minus

Using advanced robotic technology and vision systems, our bespoke pick and place machines are engineered from the ground up to meet your individual specification. Whether you need products transferred, orientated, collated or placed with pinpoint accuracy, we combine our expertise in robotics and vision to design a system that integrates seamlessly into your production environment.

Our systems are designed and built with the demands of a food environment firmly in mind - hygienic construction, easy cleaning, robust performance across extended shift patterns and full compliance with food safety standard.

We've developed pick and place solutions for a wide range of applications across bakery, cheese, meat and prepared food sectors, from raw to packaged food.

We take the time to fully understand your line before we design anything. What are your throughput targets? What are the product dimensions and tolerances? How does the system need to integrate with what's already in place? This also includes testing your product on our inhouse systems. Only once we have a complete picture do we begin to engineer a solution - one that is sized, specified and programmed to deliver the performance your business depends on.

Service & Spare Parts

plus minus

Our service and spare parts offering is designed to give you complete peace of mind, from day one and beyond.

Our Service Agreements keep you covered with expert telephone and remote support, ensuring that help is always on hand whenever you need it.

Planned maintenance

Prevention is always better than cure. Our planned maintenance visits are carried out by our own engineers, who know our machines. Regular servicing helps to extend the working life of your equipment, optimise performance and catch potential issues before they become costly problems.

Spare parts

We know how important it is to have the right parts available at the right time. We would always recommend purchasing key spare parts alongside your initial machine - having them on the shelf means that if something does need replacing, your line is back up and running as quickly as possible. Spares can also be ordered at any time; simply contact us and we'll make sure you have everything you need.

Emergency support

When the unexpected happens, we act fast. Our team is on hand to diagnose issues remotely and, where necessary, despatch parts or engineers without delay. We don't just sell you a machine - we're invested in keeping it working for you.

Consultancy

plus minus

Buying a new machine or planning a change to your production facility is a significant investment. Getting the specification right before you commit can save time, money and a great deal of disruption down the line.

With over three decades of experience in food production automation, our engineers and technical specialists work alongside you to fully understand your production challenges, your line requirements and your long-term goals - before a single machine is ordered or a single bolt is turned.

Virtual reality factory planning

One of our most powerful tools is the use of VR headsets to bring your project to life before it physically exists. Using detailed 3D modelling, we can walk you and your team through a complete virtual representation of your factory layout, showing exactly how new machinery or automation systems will sit within your existing space.

This technology allows you to visualise workflow, assess operator access, identify potential bottlenecks and make informed decisions about machine specification - all before any capital expenditure is committed. It's an approach that removes guesswork and gives you genuine confidence in the solution you're investing in.

Whether you're looking to automate a manual process for the first time, increase throughput on an existing line, or undertake a full factory re-layout, our consultancy service can help. We'll review your current setup, model the proposed solution and provide clear, practical recommendations that are grounded in real-world food production experience.

Ancillary Equipment

plus minus

Every piece of ancillary equipment is engineered specifically for the demands of a food production environment. Hygiene, durability and ease of use are built into every design, not added as an afterthought.

Conveyor transfer systems

Moving product accurately and reliably between stages of your production line is fundamental to maintaining throughput and protecting product integrity. Our stainless steel conveyor transfer systems are designed to handle a wide variety of food products gently and consistently, maintaining orientation, minimising product damage and keeping your line moving at the speeds your business demands.

Whether you need a simple transfer between two processes or a more complex multi-stage conveyor system that integrates with your cutting, portioning or packing equipment, we engineer solutions that are built around your layout and your line speeds. All conveyor systems are fully cleanable, with smooth surfaces, minimal horizontal ledges and easy-access design features that reduce cleaning time and support compliance with food hygiene standards.

Infeed and outfeed systems

The way product is presented to your machine has a direct impact on cut quality, portion accuracy and overall throughput. Our bespoke infeed systems ensure that product arrives at your cutting or portioning equipment in the correct orientation, at the right speed and with the consistency needed to get the best possible results from your machinery.

Outfeed systems are equally important - handling portioned product carefully to maintain presentation quality and ensuring that downstream processes receive product in exactly the condition required. All infeed and outfeed equipment is designed in close conjunction with the machines they serve, ensuring complete compatibility and seamless integration from the outset.

Packing stations

Ergonomics matter. A well-designed packing station reduces operator fatigue, improves accuracy and helps maintain a consistent pace throughout a shift. Our packing stations are designed with the people using them firmly in mind  with adjustable working heights, thoughtful product flow and layouts that reduce unnecessary reaching, twisting and handling.

Built to the same hygiene standards as the rest of our ancillary range, our packing stations feature fully cleanable surfaces, minimal crevices and robust construction that stands up to the rigours of a busy food production environment. Whether you need a standalone packing position or a fully integrated packing station designed to work in tandem with your portioning equipment, we can deliver a solution that works for your team and your product.
