CREAT3D is taking Additive Manufacturing on the road with our Winter Workshop Roadshow — a series of free, hands-on sessions designed to help UK manufacturers explore how 3D printing delivers real, practical benefits across design, tooling and production.

We’ll be visiting Warrington, Wrexham and Wolverhampton, bringing together engineers, production managers and operational teams to see how Additive Manufacturing (AM) can be applied directly to operations — from rapid prototypes and machine components to tooling, fixtures and low-volume production parts. The workshops are informal, practical and interactive, led by CREAT3D’s in-house applications engineers who work with manufacturers across the UK every day to implement 3D printing solutions that reduce lead times, cut costs and improve uptime on the factory floor.

Each session runs from 10:00 to 12:00, with coffee on arrival and an optional lunch and Q&A to follow.

Attendees will get hands-on experience with a range of industrial 3D printing technologies, including: Formlabs Fuse SLS printers – producing strong, functional parts ideal for production tooling, spares and enclosures, now also available in metal-detectable and food-safe materials for use in food, beverage and packaging environments. Formlabs Form 4L SLA printers – delivering fast, high-resolution parts in over 45 materials, including silicone and engineering resins Markforged FX10 composite and metal printer – capable of printing both continuous carbon fibre composites and metals including Stainless Steel 316L, for robust parts that can withstand demanding factory conditions.

The sessions provide a complete view of how 3D printing integrates into manufacturing workflows, showcasing real-world examples such as custom jigs and fixtures, rapid replacement parts, machine guards, grippers, and ergonomic tooling.

Why Attend? Whether you’re new to AM or ready to expand your in-house capabilities, the Winter Workshops will help you:

·       Identify the right technologies and materials for your specific applications — including metal, metal-detectable, and food-safe options.

·       Learn how manufacturers are using AM to solve production challenges and improve efficiency. See the latest hardware and printed parts up close, including live demonstrations.

·       Access one-to-one guidance from CREAT3D’s technical specialists with experience across the processing, packaging and automation sectors.

Our goal is to make Additive Manufacturing accessible, relevant and actionable — empowering UK manufacturers to apply the technology in ways that deliver measurable benefits in productivity, reliability and innovation.

Workshop Dates:

Tuesday 25 November – Warrington

Wednesday 26 November – Wrexham

Thursday 27 November – Wolverhampton

Each event is free to attend, but spaces are limited to ensure a high level of interaction.
