Hazel 4D helps major client deliver critical PPE for NHS

YORKSHIRE-based packaging company, Hazel 4D, is assisting fashion giant Burberry to deliver PPE to the NHS, while supporting customers from the food and healthcare sectors to deliver vital products.

Hazel 4D routinely provides innovative products and gives advice to help customers save time, money and the environment, now it is providing Burberry with packaging to deliver c. 100,000 surgical gowns to the NHS.

Hazel 4D is currently supplying the designer with one pallet of carboard boxes a week – around 180 cartons per pallet – and e-tape, all FREE of charge.

Speaking of the company’s COVID-19 response, Garth Christie, Chairman of Hazel 4D, said: “It's a privilege to be able to support our country and the NHS at their time of need. We really appreciate all that Burberry is doing to help selflessly in this crisis.”

Meanwhile, Michael Pickles, Warehouse Manager at Burberry in Leeds, said: “On behalf of everyone at Burberry, thank you to Hazel 4D for their part in supporting this project.”

As a key supplier to the UK healthcare sector, communications and food industries, Hazel 4D has been able to maintain business continuity while continuing to heed Government advice.

Its warehouse team is working round the clock 24/7, which has been complemented through its partnership with Eddie Stobart – the UK’s largest warehousing and logistics companies – to help keep the supply chain moving.

As a further measure to support customers, Hazel 4D is carrying out product training and installations with customers through video conferences to keep its workforce safe.
