Built on the proven Gocator® smart platform and powered by GoPxL® vision inspection software, Gocator 2D Smart Cameras deliver LMI’s industrial-grade reliability to 2D inspection-without the need for PCs, external compute, or cloud connectivity. Using browser-based, drag-and-drop workflows, inspections can be designed, validated, and deployed in hours rather than weeks. The result is faster commissioning, lower total cost of ownership, and deterministic, real-time inspection performance on the factory floor.

Smart 2D Vision-At the Edge
Gocator 2D Smart Cameras integrate the camera, processor, and vision software into one IP67-rated industrial unit, eliminating the complexity and maintenance overhead associated with traditional PC-based vision systems. Available in 5 MP and 12 MP global-shutter models, Gocator 2D Smart Cameras capture low-noise images at up to 84 frames per second with sub-10 ms latency, supporting high-speed production environments.
On-device AI and rule-based vision tools run side-by-side, enabling a wide range of inspection tasks-including defect detection, measurement, OCR, barcode reading, color inspection, and traceability-executed directly on the camera. Native support for EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus, and MQTT enables seamless integration into modern automation and PLC environments.
Gocator 2D Smart Cameras leverage NVIDIA Jetson™ Orin NX edge processing to deliver the AI performance required for demanding industrial inspection applications while maintaining deterministic, real-time operation.
GoPxL: A Unified Vision Platform
At the core of the Gocator 2D Smart Camera is GoPxL, LMI’s unified vision software platform. Using a browser-based interface and drag-and-drop workflows, users can design, validate, and deploy inspections in hours rather than weeks-without writing code.
GoPxL supports live debugging, Replay-based validation, and the ability to combine AI-based tools with traditional vision algorithms within a single inspection pipeline. The platform is open and extensible, supporting Python scripting and advanced workflows for manufacturers and system integrators with specialized requirements.
