Meler announces new functionality for Micron+ range of hot melt melters

Focke Meler Gluing Solutions (‘Meler’) has integrated Bluetooth technology into its Micron+ piston melter to give a boost to the productivity of hot-melt systems.

The use of Bluetooth technology enables a direct connection between “man-machine”; therefore, it introduces many benefits in any production line: reduction in operator efforts for repetitive tasks, work safety and better interaction between equipment/operator.

The system requires the installation of the free Meler BT App, which is available for iOS or Android. The user will be able to manage their Micron+ piston pump unit wirelessly from a radio with a 10-m range.

This new functionality, which offers direct wireless connection without any data transfer service, is unique in the market.
