Sealpac UK offers ‘extra support’ during Covid-19

Sealpac UK and Partners are proud to have supported their customers to ensure they stay in business throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.

100% of Sealpac UK customers have met and scaled with demand in 2020, due to the robustness and quality of Sealpac’s Germany machinery and tailored service contracts.

The Dorest-based company and their cohorts, renowned for their traysealers and thermoformers, have gone ‘above and beyond’ for their customers this year; providing additional labour for companies struggling with shortages.

During the height of the first Covid-19 wave, Sealpac provided 10 weeks of engineering site support at one of Britain’s leading food production companies, as self-isolation protocols and the effects of Brexit left them without the necessary staff.

Sealpac also increased production by 50% for the first few weeks of the Covid-19 crisis and continued to deliver quality machines to recent customers. Two full lines were commissioned and installed at a major red meat processor in Northern Ireland, as well as another new line installed at one of the UK’s largest independent supplier of fresh produce to supermarkets.

Arguably, Sealpac UK’s biggest achievement though during initial lockdown was the supply and installation of a new A8 machine within two weeks of purchase at an award-winning beef processor at their UK, Ireland, and European site. The beef processing site, which supplies high quality meat products to a diverse range of customers, put their service contracts to good use, ensuring they have enough resources to keep production running.

Even as the UK heads towards the height of a second wave, Sealpac is continuing to support customers, with trained and multi-skilled engineers on call to provide both routine maintenance and emergency assistance to prevent downtime.
