With 3D vision technology now established as a core component of machine vision, this subject is highlighted in our latest issue.

3D imaging has roles in quality inspection, robotics and depth perception, and the feature looks at the four key techniques of laser line triangulation, active and passive 3D stereo, time of flight and structured light imaging. We look at the applications and markets for 3D imaging and give some pointers on what fits best where.
