FREE webinar: EU exit roadshow – Trade, Northern Ireland, and data (10 Dec)

With the Brexit Transition period set to end on 31 December 2020, our affiliate partner, Make UK, is hosting its second in a series of webinars to prepare manufacturers for the UK’s exit. This webinar will be held on 10 December (10:30am – 1pm) and cover Trade, Northern Ireland, and Data.

The event (via Zoom) will be split into three areas, namely:

• Special Simplified Procedures
• Data adequacy, transfers, and preparedness
• Business between Northern Ireland and Great Britain

Delegates will hear from leading customs expert Keith Robe, who will explain how companies can save time and money by using the special simplified procedures available to businesses, plus outline the key steps and documentation required.

Attendees will also learn about the new data protection rules which come into force from 11pm on 31 December 2020, after which Stephen Kelly, CEO of Manufacturing NI, will focus on the latest arrangements and implications for trade between Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
