Automate UK Driving Safety Day

Automate UK proudly present a ‘Driving Safety Day’ exclusive for Automate UK members in association with RED Corporate Driver Training at Donington Park Race Course .

This full day event offers invaluable practical instruction on how to control a vehicle in extreme conditions, in any prevailing circumstance. Designed to improve driver reaction times and assist in anticipating dangerous situations, the course will teach you advanced car control skills and improve your road safety awareness.

Safer driving leads to fewer accidents, lower repair costs, reduced maintenance, lower insurance costs and less downtime.  It means your staff aren't off work, injured or driving expensive replacement vehicles while theirs are being repaired.

The day will be based around a number of driving disciplines including; 

• Sharing the road – Defensive driving & vulnerable road user workshop
• Vehicle safety checking demonstration and training
• Vehicle parking and maneuvering training and challenge
• ERT (Emergency reaction training) ESC and ABS
• Skid car recognition and control
• On-Road – Advanced defensive driver training (C.O.A.S.T – Concentration, Observation, Anticipation, Space and Time)

 It will also cover corporate compliance rules and regulations under current legislation.
