Thatchers Cider Tour

Timings: 10:00 - 13:30 (UK)
Cost to members: £ FREE
Number of places available: 30. Please limit your booking to x2 persons per company 

Thatchers Cider Tour

Join us on a guided Thatchers Cider Tour, where you’ll learn about how they have been making cider in Somerset for over 120 years.  The tour will take you around the mill, where you will be shown how they make the cider from start to finish.

You will see how times have changed and no doubt you’ll hear a story or two about the Thatcher family.  You’ll also get the chance to try a few ciders too!

A warm welcome then awaits you at the Railway Inn, an award-winning pub and restaurant where Automate UK will host a light lunch.

Agenda for the day

10:00 - Arrival & Tea/Coffee

10.30 - Tour of the farm, bottling factory and cider tasting

13:00 - Light lunch served

15:00 - Close

NB - Please note some of the buildings in the mill have narrow corridors and uneven floors, steps and stairs. Therefore we regret they are unsuitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, or similar mobility aids.
