The ColorWorks C6000 range meets the needs of small to medium batch customers across many sectors (eg food, chemical, beverage, manufacturing) and is the latest industrial colour label printer to be added to the ColorWorks range. The C6000 series range provides on-demand, digital, four-colour label printing which are ideal for businesses with lots of SKUs to manage and not much time. Available in either 4-inch; or 8-inch print-widths, each size model is also available with an optional, built-in peeler to optimise workflows.

With print speeds of up to 300mm/sec, you can now print labels in full colour, at the same speed as some incumbent thermal monochrome printers. Printing labels on-demand helps eliminate costs associated with pre-printing, such as label waste and large label inventory. High-capacity ink pouches offer low cost per print. The permanent printhead offers significant cost savings, and peace of mind as none of its major components will need replacing for at least 500km worth of printing*.

This is a labelling system that is ideal for independent producers and manufacturers requiring shorter print runs and lower volumes of labels, tags and tickets. It is a 103mm/second model which can handle a variety of media, including matte and gloss-coated papers and synthetic media in a wide range of formats and sizes. This inkjet printer lays down colour from the printhead in a series of “passes” over the substrate; the new four pass process and it is that development which enhances the depth of colour and improves the contrast and quality results. Users can upgrade their printers to include the new high quality print mode by installing the latest firmware and drivers from the Epson website.
