Gemak started life in 1986 from a small workshop and a team in Ankara. Today, Gemak operate from a brand new, 12,000 m² state of the art manufacturing plant and a 10,000 m² installation plant, purpose-built with a 25m high tank production area and over 300 employees in six business units R&D, design, manufacturing, assembly and site work, sales & customer service, technical service & maintenance for processed food, dairy and beverage sectors within EHEDG guidelines.

Gemak specialise in design and manufacturing of equipment and systems for the production of pasteurised and UHT milk, cream, butter, cheese, yogurt, yogurt drink, ice cream, desserts, milk & whey powder. We combine our design and manufacturing expertise in flow control, thermal processing, mixing & blending, standardisation, evaporation, filtration, drying and metering to create tailored solutions to your needs.

R&D Centre and Gemak Dairy Plant (SUTANKA):

Gemak’s R&D team consisting of chemical, food and processing engineers work on pioneering projects for processing, automation, application and environmental projects.

Gemak also opened its state of the art up to 10,000 lph dairy plant SUTANKA in Ankara in 2025 just up the road from our factory. The plant offers our customers access for product trials, development of new dairy products and testing of new equipment. The plant is producing pasteurised milk, cream, clotted cream, yogurt, kefir, feta and pasta filata, cottage cheeses and capable of much more.

Site Works:

Gemak’s dedicated site works team consists of over 45 people qualified in pipe works (product, water, ice water, waste, steam, CIP, air, HVAC) as well as electrical cabling, cabling tray and pipe support connections. The team has worked together for many years on various projects all over the world and are accompanied by a site engineer at all times. Our commissioning, training and software team also join the site works for team at different stages of the installations.
