Identify Direct advises on and supplies BARCODE READERS, SCAN ENGINES and MACHINE VISION CAMERAS and accessories to Resellers, OEMs and End Users. Identify Direct have significant and valuable experience in Machine Vision and barcode scanning, in particular with OMRON/Microscan products and HONEYWELL scan engines. We encourage our customers to ‘tap into’ this experience to choose the best product for their Barcode, Machine Vision and Auto ID needs. We can also install the equipment on site, for the customer, to ensure a long lasting and reliable solution. This ensures our customers get rapid Return On Investment as well as improving quality and customer satisfaction.

We supply and support leading Barcode VERIFICATION systems, including NIST-traceable calibration conformance. VERIFICATION involves measuring and grading the quality of a printed barcode according to international ISO/IEC standards and is a rigorous off-line process. Our main focus is on Axicon and Omron verification systems, which are well-established leaders in the field and can reliably deal with all levels of product packaging. We also build, supply and support our own Checkrite VALIDATION system, used in 'track and trace' in factory management systems as well as being a stand alone system for packaging and label validation (right label on right package). VALIDATION is an on-line process that prevents mis-labelling by checking that a barcode is present, that it can be scanned and that it matches the barcode expected during a particular production batch.
