Kliklok’s SR4W lock-style carton forming machine is designed to form cartons twice as large as our other machines can at moderate speeds. The SR4W is the ideal carton former for packaging lines where “club store cartons” are part of the production lineup. Carton changeover can be accomplished in just ten to fifteen minutes with minimal use of tools. This independent product handling unit features fully adjustable 3-stage vertical rotors vanes that provide collation, stacking and transfer of bags, sachets, and other products. Multiple units can be integrated to meet high speed line requirements. The cascade loading system uses three stage rotary drop stations to align the incoming product to the position of the output device, most commonly a moving cartoner PIC pocket. The Kliklok SIPTU automatically times and places randomly arriving product into endload cartoning product infeed conveyors (PICs). Independently driven and controlled, it forms an integrated part of the PIC, offering layout flexibility and simple interface with Kliklok endload cartoners. It is especially well-suited for difficult products and frozen (often slippery) products. The SIPTU smoothly corrects product positioning by making several placement adjustments across four phasing belts. This allows for higher production speeds with accurate placement. Kliklok’s Rotary Transfer System (RTS) is an efficient, continuous motion, high speed product handling solution. The machine accepts randomly arriving product onto a smooth belt conveyor, carries them through 90 degrees via a carousel, and gently places them in the correct orientation into the infeed conveyor of an endload cartoner. This fast and robust solution is ideal for products that need gentle yet rapid transfer from narrow end leading to broad side leading, prior to cartoning.
