Founded in 1989, and led by an engineer who has worked with leading brands of packaging machinery, the company has developed cost effective, flexible packaging systems, which offer greater precision and improved reliability. Line Equipment provides a technically advanced solution, which offers a high standard of construction, touch pad control and easy maintenance in a compact unit for bagging granules, liquids, powders or solids. The company has more recently applied its skills to finding ways to upgrade equipment to make effective resealable pouches by the latest, most efficient zipper application methods. Two unique cross-web zipper applicator designs enable the addition of resealable pouch-making technology to flow-wrappers and all types of continuous or intermittent form-fill-seal machinery. The zip applicators are available not only on new form-fill-seal models, but also as a module for fitting to existing systems, for packing diverse products including cheese, rice, meat, vegetables, confectionery, bakery, pharmaceuticals and other fresh, chilled and frozen foods. Further innovation has been applied to produce the new PDQ machine. On this machine the rotatable jaws and true fin back seal allows for ONE machine to cover more bag styles. Change the jaws position on the machine to move from a traditional pillow, block bottom, gusset or quad style bagging machine to a Doy style packaging machine. With the ability to add multiple Forming Sets for each Bag Style Set Up the range of bag sizes, in various styles offers incredible flexibility, with the added option to add a zip applicator for resealable zip closures too.
