Compact and versatile, Markem-Imaje TTO thermal transfer printers can print barcodes, logos, before dates, shift codes and real-time time codes for a wide variety of applications in all industries.

Markem-Imaje's laser printing machines for coding and marking are either CO2, Fiber, or UV (ultraviolet) based that mark by ablation, etching, foaming, or laser scribe imaging.

• CO2 laser marking technology is suitable for film, laminates, PET bottles, and inked paper and metal caps.
• Fibre laser marking is suitable for bare metal and rigid plastics and is used in the automotive and electronics industries and FMCG.  Fiber laser technology provides high-speed printing in large coding areas and tough environments and the ability to multi-head scribe and produce high-contrast codes.
• UV laser technology is good for marking on the finest easy-to-damage substrates because of producing a photochemical reaction with the material, for example, on newer thinner mono films which are better for the environment films. Ultraviolet printing is an alternative solution for CO2 or fibre laser printing when these are not suitable for the substrate.

Markem-Imaje's LCIJ technology or Large Character High Resolution Piezo provides high quality coding, fast print speed, is easy to use and is a low-cost solution for secondary casing, especially on corrugates and pallets. Markem-Imaje's Large Character Touch Dry printers use a Piezo drop-on-demand technology which digitally deposits ink onto a wide variety of substrates.  The ink is heated to produce touch-dry hot melt.  The technology is ideal for large case coding, films, rigid plastics, and ceramics.

Markem-Imaje is the most experienced printer in hot melt also known as touch-dry inks that produce darker, high-quality print which is ideal on secondary case packaging for the high-quality print required on GS1 compliant 1D and 2D codes.
