The Nobac range of linerless label applicators is engineered for maximum flexibility, designed specifically for applying Ravenwood linerless labels. These machines can sleeve fixed-weight products and integrate with weigh-scales from multiple manufacturers for variable-weight products, including check weighing. Labels are available in a variety of materials and weights, including paper and polypropylene, with adhesives optimised for each product. A diverse range of machine variants is available to suit different product types and specifications.

Ravenwood has been building sleevers since 2004. The Nobac range is designed and manufactured at our Norwich factory, offering exceptional robustness for even the most demanding production environments. Over 90% of the machine’s weight is produced in the UK, with all components either made on-site or sourced within a four-mile radius of the factory.

The Ravenwood VXR family is an advanced end-of-line inspection system combining vision and x‑ray technology to ensure product quality and safety in food packaging. It detects contaminants (glass, metal, bone) verifies label quality and accuracy (print, orientation, barcodes, dates) and inspects seals for contamination or integrity issues. Enhanced features include anti-reflection imaging and deep learning OCR for improved detection.

The vision system can also be supplied standalone for flexible integration, with optional quality management software, for example QUOR, for secure reporting and traceability. 

The Ravenwood Com500 Coater is a dedicated linerless label conversion system designed and manufactured in the UK to produce high‑quality linerless labels tailored for Ravenwood applicators. It applies both hot‑melt adhesive and UV‑curable silicone (release strips) to pre‑printed substrates in a single pass, then slits and rewinds multiple lanes into finished reels, with variable line widths and coating speeds up to 130 m/min. Featuring modular design, precise glue and silicone application, laser micrometer coating control and an intuitive HMI, the Com500 delivers consistent materials for efficient, sustainable linerless label production.
