Fine and poor flowing powders can be compacted into densified sheets using dry granulation technology. The LCS and CCS roller compactors by Fitzpatrick use mechanical force between two counterrotating rolls. The densified sheets are then granulated to any desired particle size distribution to increase flowability and efficiency during tableting.
