Fine and poor flowing powders can be compacted into densified sheets using dry granulation technology. The LCS and CCS roller compactors by Fitzpatrick use mechanical force between two counterrotating rolls. The densified sheets are then granulated to any desired particle size distribution to increase flowability and efficiency during tableting.

They are the mill of choice when you need to precisely control the particle size reduction process. The ZC ViscoTron uses the same powder incorporation technology as the YTRON ZC, with the addition of 2 positive displacement pumps to achieve powder incorporation into viscous liquids or applications with a high powder/liquid ratio.
