Automate UK offers two membership choices. Full membership is open to companies engaged in the manufacture or supply of processing or packaging equipment and which meet the conditions of entry. Affiliate membership is for those who don’t meet the full membership criteria, but would like closer links to suppliers and end users, as well as increased marketing and networking opportunities.

FAQs

How much does it cost to join Automate UK?

There is a one-off joining fee of £1,500 + VAT for full membership. This is to be followed by a one-off purchase of shares for £110 (including transaction fee) and an annual subscription payment of £850 + VAT. The annual cost of affiliate membership is £1,095 + VAT.

What are the criteria for full membership?

Applicants for full membership must:

Supply a recognised range of new processing or packaging machinery
Have premises in the UK or other European Union countries
Have been trading for a minimum of 2 years
Hold a stock of parts and spares
Have a minimum of one service or sales/service engineer based in the UK or other European Union countries

What show discounts are included as part of Automate UK membership?

As an Automate UK member, you can save £123 per metre on the cost of exhibiting at the year’s largest annual machinery-only industry show (£272 vs. £395 for non-members). We also offer member discounts on attendance at the annual Automate UK Group Industry Awards.
