Ceetak Ltd is marking 50 years in business during 2024, and the Bedford offices kicked off in style in July with a celebration lunch attended by current employees, as well as retired members of staff. The company’s Scotland and Netherlands offices will have local festivities together as they celebrate their huge contribution to the growth of the company. 

From humble beginnings in Grove Place in Bedford, Ceetak was established in January 1974. Fast forward half a century, and they are an international business with a global customer base, and over 80 employees spread across multiple locations, in three countries.

The company’s two primary business units focus on sealing solutions and he­­at-sealing technologies and serve customers in a variety of critical industries including automotive, oil & gas, life sciences & medical, and the process and packaging machinery market.

Both business units are born from the core principles of engineering excellence, quality assured manufacturing and products, and excellent customer service. 

Ceetak’s heat-sealing technologies are designed and manufactured for the cutting and sealing of thermoplastic materials. At the cutting (and sealing!) edge of the latest technology and innovations in engineering, the team consults with their customers and supports them with design and build services. This includes retrofitting any one of their key heat-sealing technologies to existing equipment or incorporating them into a completely bespoke machine build for product manufacture.

Ceetak has a proud and loyal workforce and Managing Director, Andy Cleaver says: “Whilst we rightly look back at our history and celebrate our 50th anniversary and pay thanks to everyone who has played such an important part in the company’s success, it is to the future we focus our attention. Working with our customers to develop sealing solutions for the future. People make the difference in business, and I am proud to say this remains our greatest strength today.” 

With many exciting projects lined up, and a focus on improving sustainability and expansion into new global industries, exciting times are ahead for Ceetak.
