Expanding for the Future

As demand for our automation, vacuum handling and pneumatic solutions continues to increase, we're excited to share the progress being made at our new premises. Simmatic Automation Specialists Ltd.’s new facility will provide the additional space and infrastructure needed to support our customers, expand stockholding capabilities and improve operational efficiency. We’re all excited as we prepare for the important next chapter in our company's growth.

Custom Mezzanine Installation

One of the key developments within the new unit has been the installation of a bespoke steel mezzanine floor measuring 18.7m x 4.4m x 2.7m high, complete with 38mm decking boards, a staircase and a full handrailing system. The mezzanine floor will provide valuable additional storage capacity from day one, allowing us to maximise the available footprint without increasing the overall building size. This enhanced storage space will support our growing inventory and ensure we continue delivering fast, reliable service to all our customers across the UK.

A huge thank you goes to the team at Thor Safety Ltd for their professionalism, quality workmanship and commitment throughout the project. We'd also like to recognise Ben Priest, from Simmatic, for coordinating the project and ensuring everything progressed smoothly.

With the major structural work now complete, we’re looking forward to finishing the remaining improvements and moving into the facility in the near future.
