GEA Cloud® selected for the Automate UK Awards 2026 Shortlist

We are delighted to learn that our GEA Cloud® technology has been shortlisted in the Innovative Processing System category at this year's Automate UK Awards.

This award recognises manufacturers who have engineered or implemented an innovative processing system that has delivered significant improvements in productivity, cost efficiency, or operational safety.

GEA Cloud® brings swarm intelligence to industrial internet of things (IIoT) data. By securely linking equipment through edge gateways and streaming operational data into a modern AI platform, the GEA Cloud® transforms thousands of individual data streams into real‑time insights to improve availability, productivity and sustainability.

Remote service for reduced downtime: A U.S. food producer’s machine showed critical temperature deviations with no option for on-site support. Through remote connectivity, GEA experts accessed the system in real time and resolved the issue within an hour.

In 2026, more than 13,000 machines already connect to the GEA Cloud®. The connected installed base will expand to more than 35,000 machines by 2030, unlocking new levels of service performance, lifecycle transparency and sustainability impact.
