The New EU Trade Deal: Trading with Northern Ireland (18 Feb)

With the new UK-EU trade & cooperation agreement signed on 30 December 2020, PPMA members are encouraged to join a FREE to attend webinar on Trading with Northern Ireland on 18 February 2021 at 12pm (BST).

During this one-and-a-half-hour webinar session, attendees will get an overview of what the UK-EU deal means for trade with Northern Ireland (NI) and the implications for you and your business when exporting. Specific examples will illustrate what paperwork and checks are needed to export to NI.

You will leave with a broad overview of the policy and an understanding of the practical and technical implications for Great British manufacturers. The session will conclude with helpful guidance on how work within the new protocol.

Speakers

Attendees will hear from Elly Paterson, Northern Ireland Stakeholder Engagement Team at HMRC. Elly is based in Belfast and part of the Engagement Team, so she is ideally placed to offer insight into what the additional exporting paperwork and requirements.

Stephen Kelly, CEO of Manufacturing NI, meanwhile will speak on the Northern Ireland Protocol and how the Protocol impacts trade in goods. Stephen will also explain how the Trader Support Service can help with companies trading with NI. Stephen will highlight what your haulier needs to enter NI with goods.
