The SICK Hackathon for young talent

The SICK Hackathon in Waldkirch, Germany, gives young talent from around the world the opportunity to show new ideas on how to solve the IoT challenges of the world of industrial automation...

When Jules Verne published his novel 'From the Earth to the Moon' in 1865 it was just a science fiction story. But roughly 100 years later, humans actually did land on the moon. The impossible became a reality. This is just one example on how technological development has always been inspired by open minds and creative ideas - that at first glance may seem outlandish.

SICK is convinced that we need this spirit to overcome the challenges we face - in our daily life, at home or at work. This is the spirit of the SICK Solution Hackathon.
The SICK Hackathon in Waldkirch, Germany, gives young talent from universities and startups from around the world the opportunity to introduce their way of thinking and create new ideas to solve the IoT challenges of the world of industrial automation...

If accepted to be a participant, you get:

  • Travel, accommodation and subsistence costs covered
