FREE Make UK - The new EU trade deal: Freight & logistics (11 March)

With the new UK-EU trade and cooperation agreement signed on 30 December 2020, PPMA members are encouraged to join a FREE to attend webinar on Freight & Logistics on 11 March 2021 at 12pm (BST).

During this one-and-a-half-hour webinar, attendees with gain an overview into the complexities into importing into the UK or exporting to the EU.

The session will deliver a broad overview with specific examples to illustrate the practical and technical implications of recent changes for GB manufacturers. Attendees will also see how to deal with import checks which come into effect on 1 July 2021 in line with Stage 3 of the new Border Operating Model.

Logistics UK will bring the session to a close with a stock take on what we have learned since the start of the year, and a detailed look at how businesses send goods GB to NI.

The Department for Transport (DfT) will provide insight on the current challenges facing freight transport, delays/increase in cost. They will go on and talk in more detail around specific container system challenges and infrastructure as it relates to freight & logistics.
