Service Technician

Job description:

To expand and strengthen our service organisation, we are looking for a Service Technician who combines technical expertise with a customer-focused attitude.

Background
From Easter 2026, there will be a large installation at one of our customers in the Huntingdon area. This will involve working away from Monday to Friday each week for a period of 3–5 months. Candidates must be prepared for this extended assignment as part of their role

Responsibilities include:

- Perform maintenance and repair work on packaging machines and robotic systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in collaboration with technical and IT teams
- Advise customers and carry out preventive maintenance measures
- Prepare maintenance reports and spare parts recommendations
- Occasionally handle emergency services outside regular working hours and on weekends
- When you are not on the road, you will be required to take calls from customers to help resolve breakdowns
- Any other office-based skills will be considered a bonus when not on the road

Candidate requirements:

- Completed technical training as a metalworker, Mechanical/Electrical technician, or control systems technician
- Completed Safe Isolation training
- Ability to work from an electrical drawing
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (Germany and Ireland)
- Ability to identify and solve problems effectively
- Assertiveness to represent company interests confidently and competently
