Owner and MD of Multipix Imaging, engineering degree qualified with over 25 years’ experience at a high level in the Machine/Computer Vision industry. As a vision specialist, he has a wealth of knowledge in all areas of industrial vision. Always at the cutting edge of camera technology throughout it’s evolution. He is still full of enthusiasm and passion for helping and supporting our industry and still thrives on technical engagement. Simon is keen to raise the profile of the Machine Vision industry through full engagement with Automate UK. Spreading our innovation to the world for the benefit of everybody.

Elected to the Board of Directors in 2019. Allan is the Managing Director at ClearView Imaging, which provides bespoke vision systems and component parts. Allan is also the past Chairman of UKIVA.

Paul Wilson

Paul Wilson has been involved with the UKIVA for 15 years, including 10 years of service on the committee. This tenure included two years as Chairman, which also granted a directorship on the board of the PPMA Group. In 2025, he co-founded Cortha to exploit the new generation of machine vision technology using AI, built on the foundation of robust image acquisition and light. He views UKIVA and Automate UK as an essential platform for the promotion and development of the UK machine vision industry within the manufacturing sector.

Nathaniel Hofmann

Nathaniel is the UK Machine Vision Product Manager for SICK UK. With over Fourteen years’ experience in the machine vision industry, this has culminated in his current position at SICK which he has held for over Two years. Whilst helping and enabling companies to embark on their automation journey, highlighting how machine vision can help customers have been key areas of interest. With a wide range of vision knowledge combined with a passion for 3D and robotic vision guidance. He feels that being a part of UKIVA is about upskilling the UK and Ireland market on what is possible with vision to keep the UK at the forefront of global technology.

Mark Williams

Mark Williams has been with Basler for 9 years and works within Sales & Business Development for UK and Ireland. He is an experienced business development manager with a demonstrated history of working in the machine vision industry with UK and EMEA distribution channel and direct sales experience. With a focus on leading edge innovation projects, including embedded vision and SWIR, he works closely with the UK and Irish markets to assist machine vision customers.
